The apartment is part of an old house built in 1922, registered as a historic monument. Located in Col. Cuauhtémoc, a downtown, classy neighborhood, full of lively atmosphere and attractions, it's an ideal place to have a great experience living CDMX
The apartment is on the main floor of the house and it is a two level space. On the ground floor you have the living room, dining room and half bath. The master bedroom (king size bed) with ensuite bathroom and a large dressing room, plus a lovey terrace, are located in the semi-basement.
The entire space is fully furnished in a mix of classical and modern style. All appliances are electrical (no need of gas).
You can have access to the entire apartment.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances: refrigerator, micro-wave, kitchen utensils, pots, dishes, etc. There are basic ingredients for cooking and a laundry unit.
- The bathroom is also fully stocked with all the necessary items: towels, shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper.
- First Aid Kit: It contains all you may need in case of minor discomforts (I hope you never have to use it though).
- The master suite has a king size bed, flat tv with cable and access to the terrace. Also has a nice and comfortable area for reading, watching tv, or just relaxing and dressing room.
- Living and dining room are fully furnished to make your stay a comfortable and pleasant one, like a home away from home.
I will try to be at the apartment to welcome you and show you around. It'd be my pleasure to guide you and make suggestions about places to go, things to do and interesting places around the area.
I am more than happy to assist you solving any possible question and requests you may have at any point during your visit.
The borough is a classic area in Mexico City, located basically at the heart of the the city, close to the best and most trendy areas like Historic downtown, Roma, Condesa, Col Juarez, Zona Rosa and Reforma (Chapultepec and Angel de la Independencia), Polanco.
There are countless restaurants, bars, cafes and vast cuisine offered to all kind of tastes and budgets.
If you are interested in shopping, Reforma 222 Mall is just steps away.
If your visit is a business trip, this is the right place for you. The area is the financial district and is surrounded by international firms and embassies. (U.S and U.K)
Public transportation is easy and accessible in this area, although I would highly recommend to walk, the area is nice and safe and very touristic.
There is a taxi base at Maria Cristina Hotel, just around the corner of the house.
You may want to consider a rental bike (see "Guide " section)
In Reforma Ave. there are buses that can take you to the Historic Zone or to Chapultepec.
You can always access UBER or any other app you may prefer as Cabify, Easytaxi, Yaxi.
Another good choice could be the Subway and Metrobus.
Sometimes, when there are no guests, I and Pepper (my cat) stay at the apartment, just in case you suffer from any kind of allergic reaction to cats. (Don't worry you will find medication in the First Aid kit).
